Welcome to Mrs. Vida's Science Web Page Science CURRICULUM COVERED IN 6th GRADE Big Idea #1: The Practice of Science Big Idea #2: The Characteristics of Scientific Knowledge Big Idea #3: The Role of Theories Laws, and Models Big Idea #5:  Earth in Space and Time Big Idea #6: Earth Structures Big Idea #7: Earth Systems and Patterns 6th graders will be exploring Earth and Space and how the Universe interacts together.   We will be using interactive textbooks, virtual labs and digital lessons to learn about the Universe.   TEXTBOOK Science Fusion Earth- Each student will be issued an interactive textbook in which they will be taking notes and completing activities within their textbook.   *Online Textbook To get to your online textbook: 1) Go to www.thinkcentral.com 2) Click on Science & Health   3) Click on Science Fusion   4) At the sign in page enter:  FL, Charlotte, and MMS    5) Sign in using your 8 digit student id # (for your username and password)
