2. Cap erasers/large erasers
3. Black pen
4. College Ruled Paper
5. Colored Pencils
6. Three-Ring Binder 1in to 1.5in                                               
7. 5 dividers
8. Washable Markers
9. Highlighter
We are in need of wet wipes (Clorox, Method, etc.) for lab clean up and germ control. Thank you!!!!!

Notebook Requirements
  • Planner (assignment notebook, provided by MMS)
  • Used daily for Do Now
  • Great for quick communication between parents and teacher
  • Needed for bathroom pass
  • 3-Ring Binder
  • Five dividers are needed
  • Will contain: Notes, Vocabulary, Current Work, Graded Work, and Other materials
  • Binders will be check regularly and emptied each quarter.

        Sharpen Pencil
        Complete Do Now
        Follow teacher’s instructions, whether written or verbal.

Class Work
  • All work will be posted on the board and online. Any class work not completed in class will be homework unless directed otherwise.
  • Your planner is used for copying the daily class work and homework into. Please, use it.
Homework
  • Homework is due upon arrival in class on the date it is due.
  • Late work will receive partial to no credit.
  • Requests for “all the work I’m missing” will not be honored.
Make-Up Work
  • Students receive two days per each day excused absent to complete make-up work.
  • Students can look online, in the classroom assignment book, with their lab partner, or with their teacher for work that was missed.
  • It is the STUDENT’S RESPONSIBILITY to obtain his/her work upon returning to school when he/she returns.  Work not obtained within the week of returning will be marked as a 0.
Grade Distribution
  • Tests, Quizzes, Labs, and Projects=75%
  • Practice and Homework=25%
Grading Policy
A       90-100
B       80-89
C       70-79
D       60-69
F       59-0


You will be given a hard copy of this, so that you may go over it with your guardian(s). It will be signed by all of you, and placed in your 3-ring science binder.
