I am pleased to have your child in my Spanish class. I plan to make his/her year of studying a foreign language an exciting and memorial experience.

I am the new Spanish Teacher at MMS, I would like to introduce myself, I am Mrs. Guzman.
I have been teaching for 22 years, in and out of USA, I hold a Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees from University of Lugansk, Ukraine, and a Master’s Degree from NOVA University, Florida. I have two sons and two grand babies, I just moved to Port Charlotte to live near to my family. I like to spend time with my sons and grand babies. I am from Cuba but I am living in USA since 1998; I am very proud of myself and to be an American citizen.
Also, I love to teach, to learn and to fish.
I love what I Do!

Why Spanish?
Foreign language study is essential not only to meet the requirements, of higher education institutions, but also because of the expanding global economy and ever increasing job opportunities requiring one of more languages other than English. Being Bilingual means a brighter future!
