Welcome to B-2 EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED HOW CAN I PASS HEALTH?  (Please tell me Mr. Bailey) Arrive to class on time. You will have 4 minutes between classes.  If tardy, you will loose points from your citizenship grade. Sit in your seat properly. Always sit in your assigned seat Do not sit on top of table Do not sit on back of chairs Bring health materials to class each day. Pencils and pens (any color) Paper (any color) Notebook ( 3 ring binder with tabs ) Complete all assignments on time. Use pencil or any color ink. Write your first and last name in the top right corner of each assignment. NO NAME ON ASSIGNMENT…THAT PAPER WILL RECEIVE NO GRADE. YOU WILL RECEIVE A ZERO ON THAT WORK. Write assignment title in the top left corner of each paper. Ask permission before leaving your seat for any reason. Sharpen pencil Throw trash away Restroom pass Organize your health notebook.  Use dividers or tabs. (3 ring binder) Notes Questions from book Worksheets RFI (reading for information) sheets Chapter vocabulary (concept will are learning) Quizzes and test Labs and activities Remember time lines. No assignment will be accepted late…EVER If you miss a lab…you will need to write a 250 word report on that topic. When absent from school…MAKE UP WORK A pop quiz can be given at any time…BE PREPAIRED At the end of each unit or concept…there will be a test…all tests will be open notebook. Keep track of your grade Grades will be posted every Monday Discipline No gum No candy No profanity No excessive talking No tardies No cell phones (they will be confiscated) No Ipods etc  (they will be confiscated) ANY INFRACTONS WILL COST 25 POINTS FROM CITIZENSHIP GRADE Discipline procedure Move seat Time out seat Call parent remove from classroom ( send to team leader) Send to office on a large referral When the bell rings, it does not dismiss you.  When everyone is in their seats and quiet, I will dismiss you. Remember: Time is passing ….. Are You!
